I’m Mark Diaz, a criminal defense attorney who has spent nearly three decades standing between my clients and the State of Texas.
Being charged with a crime is overwhelming. Most people facing arrest or prosecution have never been inside a courtroom, let alone navigated the criminal justice system. For me, this work is familiar ground. I’ve handled cases across the full spectrum of criminal charges, and there is very little I haven’t seen. That experience allows me to stay calm, focused, and strategic when my clients need it most.
Criminal defense is not something I dabble in. It is the sole focus of my practice and has been my life’s work since I began practicing law. I am a graduate of Thurgood Marshall School of Law and earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Houston.

After college, she attended South Texas College of Law to obtain her law degree. After completing law school, Jessica started at the Galveston County District Attorney’s Office as an Assistant District Attorney.

With a decade of experience as a prosecutor spanning from West Texas to Galveston, Tyler has handled hundreds of cases, ranging from minor misdemeanors to high-stakes felony jury trials. This experience helped him develop a sharp, investigative eye that allows him to deconstruct a prosecution’s case from the ground up.

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the tragic and unexpected passing of our Associate Attorney, Matt Sloan. Matt passed away in an automobile accident on Wednesday, May 13th, 2020. He was an exceptional attorney and an invaluable member of our law firm.
